Nooo!!!
Last night, Brian took Maliya out on a Daddy daughter date. We all waved goodbye from the front yard, as the two of them backed out of the driveway and started down the street. BUT, when Katie realized what was happening: Her dad and her sister were leaving without her, she ran right behind the car (that was in the street by then, and heading forward, not backward), she held her hands out towards the car and whimpered/begged the word "Nooo!" Then, as Brian drove away, she ran down the street, trying to catch up, yelling "Dada, dada!" It was so heartbreaking. As she ran down the hill, she got going too fast and fell down, she turned and looked at me, did her little shrug thing that means "where?" and just said "Dada! Dada!" and got up and continued running down the street. Poor thing. Apparently, she needs a Daddy Daughter Date pretty soon, too.

Telescopes
Maliya: If Jesus lives up in heaven, how can He see all of us?
Me: Umm, I don't know...
Maliya: Maybe He has a super big telescope that comes all the way down and almost touches our heads.

What Do You Wish For?
The girls were out playing with friends, and I was playing with Katie. I kept crouching on the ground like a tiger, then Katie would "count to three" (uh, doo, pfhe) then run towards me. Then I pounced and grabbed her. She giggled and giggled then she would stand up, and walk away, doing a sort of crouching walk. So cute!
Suddenly, there was a quiet knock on the front door. I went and opened it. Who should I find there, but little Rachel! Her hands were behind her back, and she asked "What do you wish for?" My mind raced as I tried to answer appropriately and quickly. Then, the perfect answer came to me: "A beautiful flower!" I said. She smiled ear to ear as she pulled her hands out from behind her back and handed me a dandelion and several purple flowers she had picked for me. What a sweetheart!

Best Of All
I let the kids sit on the couch and watch a little Diego, tonight, just before bed. While the older girls watched, Katie looked over and Rachel and just smiled, then leaned in and snuggled Rachel to the point that she tipped her over. Rachel just giggled and patted Katie on the back. "Katie wuvs me best of all" she said.
